Google offers a variety of scholarships to students who intend to pursue or are currently pursuing programs in computer science, engineering, or related fields. Some of these Google education and scholarship programs were created to support groups that were historically underrepresented in the technology sector, particularly women, and to enable them to finish bachelor's, master's, or doctoral programs in computer science, engineering, etc. in order to make profound contributions to society through technology.

Google has been one of the world's software and technology powerhouses. It is therefore not surprising that they offer several scholarships for students who are interested in pursuing computer science and engineering. On this page, we shall review seven Google scholarship programs and eligibility statuses so you can choose where you fall in.
7 Google Scholarship Awards for Students
- Generation Google Scholarship (North America) - For African American, Hispanic, American Indian, Filipino/Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander, or Females.
- Google Lime Scholarship - for students with disability who are studying in a US or Canadian university.
- Google Student Veterans of America Scholarship - For US veterans studying or serving in the US military.
- Google Europe Students with Disabilities Scholarship - For students with disability in Europe or Israel.
- Generation Google Scholarship (Asia Pacific) - For women who study computer science in an Asia/Pacific country.
- Generation Google Scholarship (EMEA) - For women who study computer science in Europe, the Middle East, or Africa.
- Venkat Panchapakesan Scholarships India - For Indian students, and must be enrolled full-time.

1. Generation Google Scholarship (North America)
Google's Education and Scholarship Programs award scholarships to aspiring students of North America who want to major in computer science, computer engineering, or other related courses. Applicants will qualify based on the strength of each candidate's commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, demonstrated leadership, and academic performance.
Applicants who are part of groups historically excluded from the technology industry, including Women, Black/African American, Hispanic/Latinx, American Indian, Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander, are encouraged to apply.
Degree: Bachelor, Master, or Ph.D.
Award Amount: $10,000 USD or $5,000 CAD
Host Country: USA and Canada

Eligibility Requirements
The following are the requirements for this scholarship:
- Applicant must intend to be enrolled in or accepted as a full-time student in a Bachelor, Master, or Ph.D. program at an accredited university or college in the United States or Canada as at the time of application.
- Be studying computer science, computer engineering, or a closely related technical field.
- Demonstrate a strong academic record.
- Demonstrate financial need.
- Exemplify leadership and demonstrate a passion for improving the representation of underrepresented groups in computer science and technology.

2. Google Lime Scholarship
Google scholarship program in partnership with Lime Connect, a nonprofit organization that supports students with disabilities while they pursue education and promising careers, awards scholarships to candidates with disabilities who are pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a degree in a closely related field.

Award Amount: $10,000 USD or $5,000 CAD
Host Country: USA and Canada

The following are the requirements for this scholarship:
- Have, or consider themselves to have a visible or invisible disability
- Be currently enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student at a college or university for the current academic year
- Plan to enroll as a full-time student at a college or university in the United States or Canada for the upcoming school year
- Maintain a strong academic performance
- Be pursuing a degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a degree in a closely related technical field.
- Exemplify leadership and demonstrate a passion for computer science and technology technical field.

3. Google Student Veterans of America Scholarship
The Veterans Google's Education and Scholarship Programs are for US veterans students or veterans serving in the US military, who are pursuing a college degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a degree in a closely related technical field.

Award Amount: $10,000
Host Country: U.S.

Eligibility Requirements
The following are the requirements for this scholarship:
- Applicant should be currently enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student at a college or university
- Intend to be enrolled in or accepted as a full-time student at a university in the United States for the upcoming academic year
- Maintain a strong academic performance
- Majoring in computer science or computer engineering, or a major in a closely related technical field
- A current student veteran (including members of the National Guard or Reserve) as shown by a DD-214 and transcript, or a student on Active Duty as proven by submission of Active Duty orders and a Memorandum of Understanding from your commanding officer indicating that you are currently in good standing with your unit and transcript
- Has received an honorable discharge, or is in good standing with his/her branch of military service.

4. Google Europe Students with Disabilities Scholarship
Google awards scholarships to students with disabilities to study computer science and other related courses in college/university. This is in partnership with EmployAbility, a nonprofit organization that supports students with disabilities while they pursue education and promising careers in university.

Award Amount: €7,000
Host Country: Europe or Israel

5. Generation Google Scholarship (APAC)
Generation Google Scholarship award scholarship to female students who are currently enrolled in university to enable them to complete a bachelor's program in computer science or other related courses. This Google's Education and Scholarship Programs are meant for women in the Asian Pacific country.
Degree: Bachelor
Award Amount: $1,000
Host Country: Asia Pacific

Eligibility Requirements
The following are the requirements for this scholarship:
- Be currently enrolled as a full-time student in a Bachelor’s degree as at the time of application
- Be in your 2nd year of study at an accredited university in an Asia Pacific country when completing the scholarship program
- Be studying computer science, computer engineering, or a closely related technical field
- Demonstrate a strong academic record
- Exemplify leadership and demonstrate a passion for improving the representation of underrepresented groups in computer science and technology

You will be requested to provide the following information during the online application:

7. Venkat Panchapakesan Scholarships India
Venkat Panchapakesan scholarship is awarded to Indian students who aspire to study computer science and its related courses in any of google's accredited Indian universities.
Google's education and scholarship programs for Indians are in honor of Venkat an Indian engineer who short-lived with great impact during his lifetime. Applicant must be optimistic and desire to solve problems through computer science and engineering.
Eligibility Requirements
Google scholarship programs are specifically in search of students who:
- Aspire to be computer scientists and technology leaders
- Exemplify leadership skills and a demonstrated passion for computer science and technology
- Communicates their responses and message with thought and clarity
- Have a great financial need.
